Welcome to the Oliver Springs Public Library

The Oliver Springs Public Library is situated in a restored Southern Railway Depot, originally built in 1896. This depot once served as a bustling train station for the area’s Coaster Division. In 1986, when the Southern Railway announced plans for its demolition, the community united to preserve this historic structure. With the assistance of the Tennessee valley Authority, the depot was relocated and repurposed.

Now know as Oliver Springs Public Library (OSPL) offers a diverse range of resources, including books for all age groups, DVDs, audiobooks, plublic computers, dedicated children’s computers, copy and fax services, and access to a variety of digital reading materials.

We invite you to explore the many resources available at OSPL or take a moment to discover the museum showcasing the town’s rich history.
